I love the location for our family gathering. I wish they would clean out the swim area a little better, but it is a lake so moss is natural. The cabins are cozy but need updating. Great for a inexpensive weekend.
The location on the lake is beautiful! BUT there is a reason that there are no photographs of the insides of the "cabins". Hole in the wall, spooky horror movie, efficency is more like what the description should read for the "sleeps 4-5 people" cabin. There are 2 double beds, not even queen size beds, a creepy bathroom, and a kitchen - no a kitchenette - with a tiny oven that doesn't fit a normal size baking sheet in it and cabinets that look they have been there for over 60 years. Watch out for the wiring! As soon as we saw the wiring from the exterior to the interior of the cabin, we were scared of a fire setting us ablaze. It was a god thing we did not live to far from this location because we were able to come enjoy the outdoors during the day, use the "cabin" as a storage facility and get the heck out of there at night. This place is great to hang outside on the beautiful lake, but if you have kids, and are hoping for at least a separate room to put kids to sleep in - this is not your place.
